Before we were a company, it was two friends, their loyal dogs, outfitted rigs and a compass that never pointed toward mundane  — only toward adventure. New England was and is our proving ground. From the granite ledges of New Hampshire to mud seasons in Vermont, salt and wind off the Maine coast and a vast array of logging roads and trails. We learned quickly that this region doesn’t tolerate shortcuts. If your gear fails here, it fails fast. If your setup isn’t built right, the backcountry will expose it. And the best teacher is experience.

Weekends turned into expeditions. Expeditions turned into border crossings into Canada. Logging roads with no service. River crossings that demanded patience. Nights where snow settled heavy on tent and camper tops. Eventually the journey carried even farther — into the vast, untamed landscapes of Africa. Different continent. Different terrain. Same lesson… “Preparation is freedom."

Somewhere between backcountry recoveries and campfire coffee, we realized something. Too many truck campers are designed for showrooms instead of washboard gravel, hard winters and the unforgotten trail. Too much gear is built for aesthetics instead of miles.
